Twitter – In the Headlines for the Wrong Reasons
The many security breaches at the popular micro-blogging site has again been seen as one of the worst performing, internet-based companies the world over in terms of security with thousands of people affected by many security holes and breaches in the past few months. This type of negative publicity is considered by the micro-blogging site as publicity and even with wide gaping holes in their API, they continue to grow by leaps and bounds each and every day as if people aren’t listening. One new problem they are facing is the set coming of the Twitpocalypse or the meeting of a pre-set condition tbat would bring an unimaginable death to the whole system, crashing or totally ceasing to function. This current problem is apparently due to a pre-set binary number that goes back to the days when the base-system of the social networking site was under development.
